Have you seen a collision? Even one collision? 3 Woodbridge Ave has no curb but it has a wide sidewalk given that it once had an apron used for parking back when it was a grocery store. Turning onto Woodbridge from North State, one should use caution as with any narrow street in Ansonia. "no parking" is not the solution.

Why is there such a temporary and growing subsidized rental population in Ansonia?
Is it because of what the Mr. Gomez above posted with the town needing to clean up its act or face the equivalent in population make-up? Invest in improvements to reek the benefits of a life-time. Out with the crumbling old and in with the new. This place is starting to look like Bridgeport.

When I moved to the immediate area of that house, there was always a no parking order there. I once parked there and got a ticket. Now people park there and they get away with it. It does make it difficult to turn onto Woodbridge from North State cause you can't see whats come behind the truck. Also coming off Rockwood is not easy because you can not see from the stop sign if anyone is turning onto Woodbridge. School buses can not come through there if there is a car coming either way. They have to stop and wait for it to clear.....Have any of you tried to drive a bus or truck through there? I bet not. And it is not easy when cars are parked where they should not be....

I have noticed this myself/ Mostly one car, sometimes two. It's right where the road narrows and
a no parking sign needs to be posted there. An accident will occur.

I have noticed that the car that was parking there got hit. Still think the cuty should look into that no parking sign. But there again ansonia mist be the only city I know of where you can park ib the middle of intersection.

Be proactive! Call the police every time you see dangerous parking situation. Please contact town hall and ask how to get no parking signs put up. Stay on top of the situation and it will be resolved.

"Call the police", "contact town hall". So unnecessary when the police and city hall should be READING THIS SITE and saying "Gosh. we seem to have a problem on Woodbridge Avenue. Maybe we should check it out before someone is killed." Heck, the police should spot this during routine patrol. Ansonia is compact compared to other cities, city employees (no matter the department) should be able to pretty much spot most problems and deal with them.
