Description
In addition to the ongoing drug use in Hamden Plains Park, I came home last night to a large group of teens trying to toss a pair of sneakers over the wires in front of my house. I don't know if this is still a sign to drug dealers or was always just an old wive's tale, but it is just adding to the further deterioration of the neighborhood. These kids do not live in the neighborhood but come up from south of here to use the park. It would be nice to see a cop drive by this park once in a while.

I agree! I think it would be extremely helpful if the police drove by even twice a day to help the hoodlum issue. They should drive by once between 3 and 5 and then another time between 8 and 10 maybe.

THE ACTIVITY IN THE PARK HAS BEEN ON THE INCREASE SINCE THE BENCHES AT THE SOUTHERIN BASEBALL DIAMOND WERE REPLACED. PEOPLE ACTUALLY WALK TO THE PARK TO SIT AND GET HIGH THERE. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THEY LEAVE THEIR DRUG BAGGIES AND BLUNT WRAPPERS WHEN THEY ARE DONE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF COPS IN THIS TOWN, OFTEN SITTING IN THEIR CARS IN PARKING LOTS. IS THERE A REASON THEY CANNOT SIT BY THE PARK? THEIR PRESENCE WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED!!!

the stop and shop price right and save a lot. Need pick up there shopping cart. Around town it make the street look bad. To many food storie in one place. Hamden really changing. Been Hamden to long. Think it time to move on
