Good afternoon,
The brush in Davidson County is collected according to a route schedule, 3 times per year. The next scheduled route for 2833 Desplayne Drive, which is "Area 4", will begin on October 5, 2010. More information on the brush collection schedule can be found on our website at: http://www.nashville.gov/Recycle/brush.asp
Please feel free to contact Metro Public Works Customer Service at 615-862-8750 with any further questions or concerns.

Due to the recent flood in Nashville, the brush collection was suspended for 2 months, so the trucks could be utilized to remove storm debris. When the brush collection started back up in July we had to start back in the area that we left off which was "Area 8" to assure that everyone in the county received the same amount of pick ups.
We do have 2 locations brush can be taken to at no charge if you feel you cannot wait until your next collection.
