Description
Traffic flow on Chapel goes from two lanes to one across the intersection of Olive but no lane is marked. Note the merge sign is obstructed by branches and placed only after the merge occurs. A simple fix of a turn only lane on Chapel turning left onto Olive is an easy fix and will avoid accidents.

This has been a problem for as long as I can remember. What needs to be done is to have what people suggest-- a left turn only and a right turn/straight ahead lane. No additional road needs to be built, paint really would solve this decades old problem.
The one downside with this is that you do limit the ability to put parking there on the south side of the street, but it would only be 2 or so spots.
