I also have experienced the dangerous dip. Its been "fixed" at least once in the past say to be generous 10 years but always goes back to original depth. The whole part of 9W from IXL to the Glasco Tpk Bridge needs repair lots of danerous bumbs as well as dips (not to mention pot holes on a bridge at Glasco Tpk). I ride a motorcycle and there is a Motorcycle Shop right where a serious bump is where I have to "hold" on to my bike so I donot loose control. There are two of these bumps and one big dip!! in that stretch that really needs fixing between NYS and County Highway Depts. PLEASE FIX it will kill someone. Sunken roads,bumps (2) and pot holes very bad... please repair

This dip is now deep enough my car bottoms out on it's suspension. I have seen some cars bottom out on the road causing sparks.
I guess as long as the NYSDOT crew drive trucks they don't care what the roads are like for cars and motorcycles.
Fix the crevices and humps and this awful dip before someone has an accident.

Fix this hazard. I hit this dip the other day when it was raining and I almost lost control of my car.

Fix it before someone gets hurt.
