Description
by changing the lanes on ulster and albany aves. to one single lane going in each direction and putting one single lane in the middle of them for turning it could help drivers make those left hand turns. the drivers would be only be crossing one lane and landing or coming from that single lane.

Amen! You are absolutely right! This entire stretch of Albany and Ulster Avenues should have had a "center-turning-lane" installed YEARS AGO! All the way from the intersection at Broadway to the traffic light at East Chester Street Bypass!
With the chaotic mess of ever-increasing traffic volume through this corridor, it's a wonder that MORE people aren't killed in head-on crashes along this road!
I have seen drivers speeding at around 50MPH in heavy traffic on this road, when all of a sudden, another driver makes a neck-breaking turn across 4 lanes of traffic, causing all 4 lanes to come to a GRINDING HALT!
This road is an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! City of Kingston-- GET WITH THE TIMES!!!!!!
