Description

Plymouth Road, Harwinton. Speed limit is 35 mph, people come down the road at 60+mph. Never a police officer ticketing. Needs to be rectified!

SPEEDING IS ONE PROBLEM ON PLYMOUTH ROAD ALONG WITH THE USE OF TRI AXLE TRUCKS AND TRACTOR TRAILERS. I'VE SEEN THE BIG TRUCKS GOING IN ONE DIRECTION AND SCHOOL BUSES COMING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION. THE WIDTH OF THE ROAD LEAVES NO ROOM FOR ERROR.

We had some police activity in September, 2014-- not since. Next door neighbor's dog was hit and killed; speeder didn't stop.

Have brought this to the PD and to the first selectman. While they acknowledge there is a speeding issue in our town, nothing is being done.

Still no resolution.... and just this weekend, a 19 year old, speeding wrapped his car around a tree on Plymouth Road. Thankfully, no serious injury-- but this continues to be an issue on Plymouth Road.
