Description
There is a light on the corner of Edgecomb and Whitehall that is POINTLESS. Edgecomb is a dead end street, was there a political figure living there before? There are also lights further down on whitehall heading to New Scotland that could be removed. The street should flow much smoother than now.

What is being done abt this???
Always use this street (Guest)
Has this been looked at? At the very least the light on Edgecomb could be on a timer. There are numerous times I've come up to it while it turning red, only to turn green a minute later WITHOUT a single car coming from either direction on edgecomb. If you want to reduce pollution and emissions, put a smart timer on this light and a few other on the small side street coming off of whitehall. Its 2011, this should be an easy fix.

I completely disagree about removing these lights. I live in this neighborhood and walk everywhere I need to go and these lights are critical to crossing this busy thoroughfare. Nonetheless, I do agree that sensors need to be installed so the light only changes green for the side streets when a car is actually there and not some ghost.
