We are trying to organize a Citywide clean-up at end of month. Would you be interested in helping to organize here?

I would love to help organize a City wide clean-up for the Westville West Rock park area. The park still has not been taken care of - everything is as it was when I opened this ticket (trash can is FULL/garbage on the street/small garbage bags full of trash hanging off of the fence and benches). I am quite concerned as to how long it is taking the city/parks department to respond.

Ben, organizing a cleanup here every month or two is a great idea.

I also think that our society needs to do a better job sustaining its parks system on a year-round basis - in the same way it invests in libraries, schools, and roads. Does anyone know how many parks employees we had 10 years ago, versus today?

I would be happy to help the community with this organized clean up. I can provide all bags/equipment and arrange the pick up of the bagged garbage. Please send me an email to discuss further.

I would just like to thank the local neighbors (especially one in particular who cleaned up most of it) for cleaning up the park in response to this notice. The parks department did come out and clean up a little but there was still a whole lot more to do.

All I can say is "THANK YOU LOMO " FOR ALL YOU DO!
