Description

The intersection of Goodhouse Road and Milton Road in Litchfield is extremely dangerous. When one attempts to make a left-hand turn from Goodhouse onto Milton, it is impossible to see on-coming cars since they appear rapidly over a rise in the road, often going in excess of 60+mph on that straightaway. A stop sign on Milton would make cars come to a halt and allow those entering from Goodhouse to do so without any danger. In addition, the presence of Stonybrook Golf course at that intersection adds a tremendous number of autos to the roadway and since they need not stop when making a turn onto Milton it further increases the probability that there is going to be a major accident at that intersection. A stop sign is ver definitely needed on Milton.
