This will be my last post on this issue. Cambridge has ignored this. There DPW is a Joke at Dunkins. Someone or something will be seriously injured from this.
I said I wouldn't post about this again but after speaking to city officials at a community meeting a few months ago and being promised that this issue would be resolved, I have no faith or trust in Cambridge that this will ever be fixed.
This issue is now minor compared to other craters that exist between Harvard & Porter Square. If you don't have to drive on this section of road, avoid at all costs of damaging your automobile or injuring a cyclist from trying to avoid a pot hole or some poor utility work patching.
Please be advised that several sections of Mass Ave between Harvard and Porter Square are scheduled to be paved during FY13. Additionally, Mass Ave just north of Porter Square, between Beech Street and Russell Street is scheduled to be paved in FY13.
It's FY 14 and nothing has been done except a section around Flagstaff Park in Harvard Square. Sure another section around the university, who's kidding who! Avoid Massachusetts Avenue from Harvard to Porter but remember to support the businesses on that stretch that pay taxes to the City of Cambridge.
