The bend on Old Forge Road by the entrance to the Fair Acres campus can be quite a hassle if you happen to be employed anywhere on those grounds . Approaching this bend where there is a stop sign ; there have been many instances where vehicles from Old Forge Rd. go sharply around this bend nearly missing the vehicle at the stop sign (and too fast). One day when I stopped there and proceeded , a woman driving an S.U.V. and chatting on a cell phone came towards me on this road as I was approaching the Fair Acres Campus. A stop sign , perhaps even a traffic light --or at the very least a sign lowering the speed limit towards this bend should be necessary. The Fair Acres entrance is so heavily traveled and a lot of motorists just whip around this bend. Are there any oother people who regularly travel in this area that agree?
