It was very encouraging to see the police officer with radar. One day is not going to change the habits of the people who think that 50 is the speed limit on Townsend. Now if I could just make a left turn without getting my right mirror clipped by some jerk who can't bother to use his brakes and wait for TWO SECONDS while I make a safe turn. Those people run the risk of smacking right into someone who was also making a left turn in the opposite direction. Townsend is only a two lane road - not a four lane road with passing on the right!
