Thank you for your e-mail to Mayor Peter Bober regarding your concerns with possible code violations at several properties located on 24th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
We forwarded your e-mail to the City's Office of Code Compliance for investigation and response, and Lead Code Compliance Supervisor Susan Jacobs advised the following:
"Code Officer T. Pinder investigated this complaint on 7/12/10 and issued notices of violation for high grass at both 2447 and 2449 Van Buren Street. He also issued a property standards violation at 2447 Van Buren Street.
Officer Pinder will monitor the area for their compliance."

Both lots have now been mowed, though breached entry and disrepair remains in house at 2447 property.
