I've lived here since 1990, when I was a student at NCSU, and work at the University today. It has been a 2way from Hillsborough Street to Hope Street as long as I have been here.

RH, it's a tight area there, with the street parking. I always understood that to be a one way street (back from my time at ncsu too)- I guess we'll both know shortly.

RH, I don't if that is correct, but I have seen a RPD car on weekday mornings pulling out from Brueggers to Hillsborough St on this short stretch, so I assume it is okay.

RH, you are quite wrong. There used to be a one-way sign facing cars exiting the Brueggers lot, across the street. There also used to be two more one-way signs on either side of Logan at Hillsborough, but they all got knocked over. I used to clean graffiti off those signs. Also, if you go to Google maps you'll note the arrow along Logan that points in one direction. Also, if it were two-way, don't you think there would be *some* kind of control, like a stop sign, or a stop bar before the cross walk at the very least, for traffic on Logan approaching Hillsborough? There is none, and never has been. That's because there isn't supposed to *be* any traffic on Logan approaching Hillsborough.

At night, part of the problem is people 'cruising' up and down Hillsborough. They end the cruise by turning left onto Logan and instead of looping left through the McLaurin lot to Chamberlain or going up Logan to Chamberlain and back to Hillsborough, or looping right onto Hope, Enterprise and Hillsborough, they do a Y turn at Brueggers driveway and head back out Logan.

Logan Court is a one way street north between Hillsborough St and Chamberlain Street. The city will add additional signage at the intersection of Hillsborough St and the Bruegger’s parking lot.
