The Public Works Department has responded. The See Click Fix will serve as a request for a traffic calming evaluation on Wilmot. Once the evaluation is complete (5-8 weeks), we will respond with the results.

This effort should extend at least part of the way down Vann Street between Lundy and Wilmot. That's where the race cars get their best speed, at the bottom of the hill. That's also where the most kids live.

As residents of Wilmot/Vann, we have not seen any signs of "traffic calming evaluation". Can you tell us what this entails? There have been no wires across the street, no excess city personnel or police, etc. How do we know that this is "in progress" and what signs should be be looking for of activity? Thank you

The traffic calming evaluation for Wilmot Drive is complete. The street earned a score of 54.66 points. This currently places the street in 13th place out of the 86 streets on the Minor Project List. If the street maintains this ranking when the list is approved by Council later this summer, Wilmot could come up for consideration for a project this fiscal year.
