Description
Mindless vandalism acts are among the biggest crimes against the community. Quinnipiac River Park is arguably the nicest walk along a waterfront in New Haven. Seeing those trees broken hurts me a lot. I believe that quick replanting of new trees would sens a message that there is a will to keep the Park clean and green.

Ah, New Haven. Chris Ozyck and friends work really hard to make this neighborhood a nicer place. I agree, though, that we should get out there an fix it asap. Screw the scumbags that live amongst us.

And another thing - I helped out planting last year, and planting trees is HARD WORK! I am now eve more angry after enlarging the posted picture. If anyone saw anything, please post it and call the police!

Count me in on a replanting. Animals will always be amongst us, and as a dog owner, I'm used to cleaning up after their sort.

I'll help too if I can, please post the new date and time here. Planting trees is hard work but it is fun.

A sad photo speaking a thousand words advocating for more summer civic activities for school kids out for the summer. If only the energy spent breaking the tree could have been directed toward a positive end.

I am happy to report that few days ago (just after 4th of July) new trees were planted in the Quinnipiac River Park to replace those broken by vandals. It seems, that it was done by Park Services - thank you.
