sidewalk in front of home is raised due to tree growing from street side and roots moving concrete. this is a huge trip hazard as well as a flooded sidewalk issue making it impassable. this past weekend an elderly woman tripped in front of home

03/12/2013 – Thank you so much for sharing your very important concern with the City of Richmond government. This situation was formally reported to Richmond Sidewalk Mgmt Team (20020878181) on 12/20/2012 so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. Richmond Sidewalk Mgmt Team noted a 4ft x 20ft section of sidewalk needs repair and this will take place by 1/28/2018. A follow through has been forwarded to alert them to the alleged tripping last weekend. Because of time that may be involved with this request, updates or follow up can be conducted by dialing the Richmond Customer Care Center at 804-646-7000

Seriously, You close the issue which is obviously a hazard and then state that it will be 5 years before the problem is addressed?
