The recycling bins are currently outside have have been for over 2 days. Could the city contact the apartment management to get this resolved?

These bins are left out the entire week whether empty or full.

These bins are still out on the sidewalk and have been since this was first posted two weeks ago.

It has been over 2 weeks since the City of Richmond has acknowledged this problem and yet the recycling bins and supercans continue to be left out on the sidewalk. At no point since the acknowledgement have the cans and bins NOT been on the sidewalk.

Is the City of Richmond planning on doing ANYTHING regarding this issue? The cans are out today and have been everyday since the city acknowledged the problem.

Is there any update on this issue. I would think the city would want to resolve as it makes the city look bad, creates rodent problems, and could be a source of fees if they fined as promised.

Another report was submitted on SeeClickFix a week ago and the City of Richmond has still failed to correct the problem. Enforcement of city laws is severely lacking.

Nope, they are still out 24/7.

The problem is actually getting worse as the problem has now expanded to the 3300 block of Ellwood. City enforcement is pathetic as there are numerous complaints and notifications on SeeClickFix regarding this issue at these location.

@RVAneighbor and @ConcernedCitizen, this would be frustrating to me if I lived over there. Just a suggestion ... as no one from the city seems to be paying attention to this {sigh}, you might want to create a few new reports with the exact address (one address per report; the system doesn't seem to do well with addresses like 3100-3200) and file it under "overgrown lots" instead of the "trash" option in SCF. It doesn't make sense, but the "overgrown" option goes to the Code Enforcement department while the "trash" option seems to just be for picking up sofas and stuff; this is a code issue more than a trash issue. I'd still leave this report open though. Hope that helps.

Thanks @Randolph Ranger! Perhaps this way, they can fine the property owner since both are cases of apartment buildings.

@Randolph Ranger, new reports are made every two weeks (since the recycling is picked up every 2 weeks, they are not technically in violation once the window to leave recycling out is available), but enforcement in of laws and regulations in this city is pathetic. And City Councilman Baliles doesn't seem to care about this issue as he lives nearby, but he puts in requests for the city to pick up small tree branches versus this.
