Description

The motion sensors have been turned off or are not working. When there is no traffic on Griffin, you have to sit and wait for the lights to cycle. This holds up traffic on K D Ave that could be going through.

As with most issues on See, Click, Fix, it is ignored by Bangor Public Works. The city seems to be getting into a "We don't care" attitude about Public Works.

Hates inop traffic lights (Guest)

Still stays red on KD ave. for 1 minute and 32 seconds. Even with no traffic on Griffin. The solution? Run the red light. Why can't the motion sensors be re-activated?

PW refuses to fix the problem. The city council ignores it. Now that even more people are using KD Ave because of the detours on Union St at the I95 overpass, there is even more traffic. At peak times, I've waited through 45 cycles to get across Griffin Road. The traffic will back up almost to Grandview. Like most, I simply run the red light or wait another 2 minutes for it to change.
