On Saturday night while taking a stroll around the green I came upon a large fleet of dattco busses and probably about 1000 kids lined up. When I asked someone where they all came from they told me they were Quinnipiac University kids and they do this every week. I decided to stay and watch this process. I observed a security guard who apparently worked for quinnipiac cleaning a bus full of vomit and sweeping it right onto the sidewalk. This continued for just about every bus that pulled up to the stop. I had enough and left. When I came back in the morning for my morning walk there were clumps of vomit all over left behind from the university. My question is why are they not responsible for cleaniing up there mess? Why does the city continue to allow this kind of behavior on the green? It is time to take back our green from these student who will only in time continue to destroy it. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

A little vomit here.A little vomit there. What does it matter?!!! It matters because first of all it's disgusting. Second of all it shouldn't be happening in the first place. Since when did this behavior become acceptable? If they are old enough to drink then they should know by now how to behave in public. This is childish and very immature to say the least. This stuff we did when we first started experiment in jr. & high school. To say that because these kids spend alot of money and don' t drink and drive is reason to accept this behavior leaves one wondering where the logic and morals are in that kind of thinkin
I' ve lived in this city most of my life. I' ve worked in several stores here not to mention how many I ' ve shopped in and continue to. Not once did I ever think bcause of this patronage that I had the right to vommit anywhere I chose. What's acceptable next? Relieving oneself in public I suppose. By the way I
CHOOSE not to drive in New Haven. Should I get kudos for that? My behavior in the car dictates my behavior in the car.Not outside of. This behavi
