Description
As of June 6. 2013, the bushes have grown back and the view to check oncoming traffic from the Garden State Parkway is blocked. There is still no sign warning drivers coming off the Parkway that there is a
HIDDEN AND HEAVY MERGE on the right side as they follow ramp to Route 80 East.
As of October 1, 2012, there is still NO SIGN for drivers exiting Garden State Parkway at Exit 159 telling them that there is a heavy merge on right which is HIDDEN BY TRESS AND BUSHES WHICH GET CUT DOWN AND THEN GROW AGAIN.
My neck is sore from twisting it to see if any cars are coming off the
Parkway on ramp to Exit 80 East BEFORE I can merge onto that
approach ramp.
Please drive this merge yourself from Saddle Brook and see how your neck feels.
Thank you, Anita Nedswick
Drivers speeding off Garden State Parkway at Exit 159 have
NO SIGN of HEAVY MERGE
on right ( from Saddle Brook)
Cars have no speed strips, ramp curves, bushes and trees
hide cars approaching on right
I have been tapped in rear of my car twice trying to merge from Midland Ave in Saddle Brook with cars speeding off
GSP at Exit 159. Have to stop
twice.....once at actual sign and
then STOP AGAIN in a few feet
so you can turn around 180 degrees to see cars speeding out of Toll Booths at Exit 159.

I used this merge on Wednesday, July 21, and
the trees / bushes on right are now partially
BLOCKING the STOP SIGN. Please correct this
merge onto ramp for Rte 80 East.

New Pehle Ave in Saddle Brook on Wednesday, July 21, and now the bushes / trees
on right are Partially BLOCKING THE STOP SIGN.
Why are Officials waiting for a serious accident here before they address this merge?

This Merge has NOT yet been fixed. Bushes and
trees on right are blocking the STOP SIGN on right.
Bushes and trees to left block view of oncoming
cars I made this merge on Aug. 17 and my neck
was so sore because you have to stop your car and
turn your head more than 180 degrees to see if
a car is approaching from off the Parkway.
PLEASE fix this merge.

I used this merge last week and the STOP sign is almost impossible to see because of overgrown trees.
The overgrown bushes made it VERY DIFFICULT to see if anyone was
approaching from off the Parkway or not.
PLEASE FIX this merge before someone is seriously hurt.........
maybe YOU or someone in YOUR FAMILY!
Thank you,
Anita Nedswick

I used this merge onto 80 East today, Oct. 21, and the "STOP"
sign is blocked by very high weeds on the right side.
I also know that there is NOT a Sign alerting the drivers exiting the Parkway northbound at Exit 159 and going straight onto Rte. 80 East that there is a merge from the right side.
These drivers can NOT see cars approaching from right and merging with them because of all the trees and bushes in area.

There is still NO SIGN for drivers speeding off Parkway
to 80 East that there is a MERGE on the right
and because of the trees and bushes, drivers coming
off the Parkway can NOT SEE the vehicles merging
on the right side.
Thank you for addressing this safety issue,

To Whom it May Concern,
I used this ramp yesterday - 6/27 - and tree leaves are partially blocking the STOP sign.
When I turn my neck 180 degrees to see cars approaching from Garden State Pkwy, the
bushes block my view so I had to move out further to check for cars.
PLEASE take Exit 159 off Garden St. Pkwy, go straight after Tolls, and see for yourself that
IT IS A BLIND MERGE ON THE RIGHT FOR THOSE OF US APPROACHING RTE 80 EAST
from Pehle Ave via Midland Ave in Saddle Brook.
Why do you have to wait for a serious action here to put up a "HEAVY MERGE" on right Sign for
motorists speeding off G S Pkwy for 80 East????????
Thank you for your attention to this serious matter,
Anita Nedswick
