Description

Mayor Bingham and whatever other city department that was responsible, decided arbitrarily to move the bus stop from next to City Hall to the Municipal parking lot next to the library. Apparently it was too much work for the city to also move a bench or two, a garbage can, and some shelter from the elements along with the stop. Given the proximity to the Torrington Towers, and that elderly patrons are the most numerous users of the bus system, it seems rather cold of the city to not provide some semblance of amenties for these customers. Not to mention that I've sent 2 messages to the mayor about this over the last 2 months, and not recieved so much as an acknowledging email. So much for the mayor's promises of answering citizen's questions.
