This is one of the worst areas in Oakland County to get on to I75 OR EVEN TO GET OFF that I have ever seen in my life . The county cand State can spend millions of dollars on I96 on and off Ramps. So what is wrong with fixing the problem here at I75 & M59

How more people aren't injured here is beyond me, good thing they wasted money repaving when this needs to be rebuilt

I thought when they did all the improvements to M-59 that this ridiculous entrance/exit ramp would be replaced. However I see that it is still functioning as both an entrance and exit ramp. Insane.

I take my life in my hands everytime I exit to 59 east from 75 south. I can't believe those entering 75 and exiting 75 have to use the same very short ramp. It's scary, especially during busy times.

Involved in accident there yesterday. . Semi truck got cut off and lost control.. taking out several cars..scariest moment ever..(500' behind semi missed being decapitated by inches) fix this before more people get hurt please

These cloverleaf interchanges were common when freeways were first built, but they need to disappear, and soon.

Replace this interchange FOR GOD'S SAKE!! I have to travel thru it every day to get off of 75S to 59E and kiss bumpers with other cars weekly. I've seen so many accidents there it's pitiful. Maybe someone needs to sue the county or state to get this done.

This conversation started 10 years ago! I watch people nearly get into accidents here anytime there is normal to heavy traffic. I try to avoid going this way because sometimes it is impossible to get over when cars are coming onto the freeway there. With. All the work being done on 75, I hope this is going to get changed. It is not a functional design.

We just moved to the area and have almost got into accidents at this interchange several times already. It is incredibly unsafe and poorly conceived. We are terrified thinking about our son eventually getting his license near here.

Additionally, I want to add that one of the deadliest aspects of the interchange is that it doesn't follow the customary rhythms of freeway driving. For those unfamiliar with it, the length of time to maneuver is short, sudden, and unexpected. People slam on their breaks and have to avoid each other by swerving onto the shoulder or sharply veering back onto 75 and missing the exit to 59 completely. Those entering 75 from 59 have to slam on their breaks and attempt to quickly fight their way through the short length of road available that is being shared with the cars exiting 75 onto 59. It is extremely dangerous.
