For some reason, people coming out Avon Lane into Cherry Hill Road think the stop sign there doesn't apply to them. Last night a woman coming out, not stopping, almost ran over a young girl and then didn't even bother to stop and ask if she was okay and raced off! It was a real close call and I am sick of this disregard of the traffic sign there as through the years I have almost been hit by people ignoring the sign. Last night was the point I decided to report it and see if something can be done. All an officer needs to do is sit on the road further up towards Water Company and watch. They do not even bother looking right when they whiz out Avon Lane past the stopping,so there will be many tickets to be given and maybe people will finally start minding the stop sign there.
