Do we know for certain if this property owner has allowed patrol vehicles to sit in his driveway? And as a matter of fact, I do drive 30 MPH on that road... I have no choice. I was being held hostage by massive amounts of traffic all needlessly stepping on their brakes because they were afraid to get bitten by tiger (police) pouncing on their prey (us drivers). Drivers all slamming on their brakes on a twisty, turny, winding road because some cop is shooting radar is more dangerous than just "speeding" on its own.

I've witnessed cops setting up shop on private property for an example , little sisters of the poor retirement home. The Colonie Police set up shop there, make stops ,which generates tickets and income for Colonie.
Well i'm sure some money is donated back to the retirement center, from the town, for use of there property...yea right.

If your referring to the driveway near the intersection of Vanenburg lane that isn't a Colonie Police car. The person who lives in that house is a NYSDEC Environmental Conservation Police Officer, they take their patrol cars/trucks home with them.

No, there have been numerous times when I have driven along this road and seen patrol cars in private driveways shooting radar at cars on Mill Road. That is illegal.

It only illegal if the property owner asks them to stop parking in their driveway and they continue to park there.
