I love the idea of this site. I'm definitely spreading the word. This kind of thing just might work. Good job!

I caught the little P. Rican girl yesterday at W. Rundell and Baldwin, called her in and she started walking. I'm sure when the cops came, it was unfounded and she was just up the street on a different corner.

I feel sorry for these girls. Does anybody know of a local ministry who could help them see there are other ways to make a living ? What a horrible way to live. I spoke to one lady who use to be a prostitute in Pontiac and ended up at Grace Centers. They get treated so badly after they "do their job". They need a way out.
Also, Sargent Davies said that if there are vehicles involved , the block captain for the area can submit the license plate number to him, they can track them down that way and talk with them.

But you do what you want and eventually you'll come around. Their type of business will make you mad too. 93 days in jail will dry anybody out yet they go back in the streets and pick up where they left off. It's all about the rock or the heroin or whatever.

I understand your discouragement. If we had them this frequently by me I would probably feel similarly. However, I think we all agree this needs to be changed. And if you are saying they are coming back even after being in jail, then even if we had more police , we would still have the problem. We need to find a solution .
By the way, Grace Centers and most ministries do not take federal money so we are not paying for that. In addition, I am repeating what Sargeant Daves said. If they ask us to do something to help them, I think we should.

why do men pick up these stray dogs? it is in the genetic code some men will risk death to procreate
it is ingrained in the brain for men .
the citizens of pontiac voted for this
and laid off the cops. what do ya expect?
this city has been goin down the tubes since Holland was mayor.
the water dept ripped people off who tried to pay the bills. was the money paid back ? do we actually know how much was stolen? nah.......
maybe its just time to cash in and move out of here for good and leave the city to these folks to steal from each other.
