Cars are going way to fast around this turn. There are adults and children that may be crossing the street a driver may not have time to stop. I doubt that a sign would make these drivers slow down.

Do people still think this issue is important? It's election time, so perhaps a time to make something happen.
If there is no agreement or resolution - and no discussion or activity to solve it, then this issue needs to be closed.

No consensus or solution. If this continues to be a problem, contact the police department and see if they will place the speed checking device there.
