On the corner of West Street and Newark Ave in Bloomfield the Water drain butt up against the curb has been sinking into the ground for 5 years now. It has not been fixed. I had purchased my 1st vehicle in 2005 and within 1 month I went to make a right off of Newark Ave onto West Street and boom a chunk of my tire was taken out. I had to get a new tire that cost about $250.00. It is about a foot lower than the sidewalk. You have to make a wide turn in order to avoid it. This is going to cause someone else car damage or cause an accident. No one seams to care about it since it has been there for over 5 years. It is about time the town fixes this.
