Description
Where Carr Rd meets Northern Pines, traffic if horrendous, especially during morning and afternoon rush hour. People may sit at the end of Carr Rd for up to 15 minutes waiting for traffic to clear. Not to mention it is somewhat difficult to see cars on Northern Pines coming from Rt 9.

walk or bike down Jones Road. Crossing the street on foot at Jones & Carr is almost impossible.

As a resident of Carr Road for the past 6 years I have witnessed the traffic increase 10 fold. There needs to be a traffic light and the speed limit reduced to 30 mph.
I have witnessed several traffic studies occurring at the intersection and nothing seem to be done with the information gathered.
Cars and motorcycles also seem to think that Carr Road is a drag strip. Vehicles fly up and down Carr Road all day and it is only a matter of time untill there is a serious accident or someone is hit by killed.

Wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone.

If you've waiting 15 minutes at that intersection, then you must be taking a nap. Traffic has increased, but realistically, you haven't waited to turn left for longer than the time of a traffic red light more than a few times.
There are 4 ways of traffic there, and only 1 may have a moment wait. Relax, this isn't the city. You may also get stuck behind a tractor.
An alternate route is using Smith Bridge Rd a little farther up on Jones.
