Description
I watched a wheelchair user struggle to get around the traffic signal equipment box at this corner. There is less than 30" clearance to get around the box if you go to the very outside edge of the curb. On the other side there is even less room, and the concrete is uneven.
This sidewalk is also heavily traveled by kids from La Meas Jr. High.

Over a year has passed since I first reported this obstruction. I still see wheelchair users struggling with this sidewalk pinch point often. The electrical box for the traffic signal makes it too narrow for a chair to get by.
