I'm pretty disappointed with NCDOT and N&S and the way that rail line is poorly kept litter magnet and eyesore, in particular further east around Beryl Road.

After travelling Hillsborough again today, I have called CSX rails at 800-232-0144 to advise them some of their signal and equipment boxes along this area (from Oakdale Drive to I40) have been hit & tagged. Some of it may be city property but I suspect some is CSX (not Norfolk Southern). Hopefully between the two entities, something can be done. As for the litter, you can call the 1 800 about that as it would be CSX's problem if it's trackside. Hope this helps.
