Disgraceful ATV's tearing up the newly made single lane streets/roads.
These are and never were "kids just having fun" (several grown men among them)--riding at HIGH speeds in the aftermath of a major crises.

Yep, last night my children and I were walking home, trying to stay off the street but without shoveled sidewalks had to walk on them for a little bit. The ATVs were doing tricks at high speeds, swaying in and out around cars and not slowing down even for pedestrians.
New Haven Police Department, please pay attention!
New Haven aldermen, can we look at the solutions some other cities have taken, like banning sales inside city limits and banning sale of gas to illegal motorbikes?

I am closing dirt bike/ATV complaints that pre-date the conclusion of the police undercover operation (see www.newhavenindependent.org/index.php/archives/entry/9_arrested_in_dirt_bike_sting/). I do not expect the dirt bike/ATV issue to be completely solved, but it will be helpful to policing efforts to distinguish new reports from those before last month's operation. The operation was not a one-off effort to address this issue, and information reported in new issues is helpful.
Please open up new SCF issues as dirt bike/ATV issues re-occur.
