Description
Intersection was recently rebuilt with turning lanes, and new traffic lights were installed. Unfortunately, the traffic lights didn't including turning arrows, just standard 3 light traffic signals. Turning arrow signals need to be installed at the Chichester Avenue and Meetinghouse Road intersection.

During am and pm rush hours, maybe ONE vehicle can get through the light on green. Most of the time, if they do, it's only because they were in the middle of the intersection while their light was green and actually make the turn on the red light.

I see no point adding left turn signals and problem with traffic getting backed up is pretty much caused by traffic on Chi Ave at Bethel. This is where back up starts from there all the way up to near I-95. Other thing is I see many drivers have no patience waiting for their turn to make the turn. Only time traffic gets back up is rush hour and it happens all over the places not just Chi Ave & Meetinghouse Rd. I often make left turn onto Meetinghouse Rd from Chi Ave and I have been ok with it

I concur with this statement. This intersection needs left hand turn arrows. It would assist in controling traffic allowing people to make left turns at this intersection. I avoid left hand turns and drive out of my way to avoid this interesection. The left turn lanes were nice but need the lights to go with it.

I agree 100 %. This intersection desperately needs a turning arrow. At best only two cars get through each cycle to turn. It's a major delay and I have seen impatient drivers go around cars waiting in the intersection because they are tired of waiting. A short cycle turning arrow would certainly free up more cars to turn and alleviate a congested intersection.

Well, they have decided to add the turning arrows on the Chichester Avenue part of the road. This is where most of the issues were, so I am glad to see that the new lights have been placed.
