Description
This house on the lower part of Canner St is being abandoned for over a decade it is boarded-up. All kind of trash is accumulating in front of the house. How is the turn of a broken TV with glass all over the sidewalk. Definitely a safety issue. Again where is LCI? Yes they will probably help removing the trash but they will not fix the problem. They should force the owner to either sell the house or rent it.

Yes, this house has been incredibly frustrating to deal with. I've spoken with the owners many times and through their actions they have shown that they want to sit on it until someone wants to develop the larger property and pay them big bucks for their portion. Unfortunately LCI can't force them to sell it, but they can force them to clean the outside up. LCI boarded up the house a while back to secure it from kids. I'll reach out to them about the TV and other debris.

I would buy that property as I am shopping for a home for months now!

The old Lehman property adjacent to this property ran into issues with the developers and some have sold their share of the property. They unfortunately have also not been taking care of their property as well as they could. LCI is in contact with them and I will reach out to them as well. We will get Public Works to take care of the T.V. and keep pushing this issue.

You should talk to one of the partner owner, Terrence Boyle 203-230-1070. It would be great if you buy it.

There are the two owners of this property: Kevin Sweeny (203-248-0728) and Terence Boyle (see number from Larry above). It would be helpful to the whole neighborhood if Kevin and Terence sold the property to someone who would take care of it.

If you're looking, please get in touch. I'm preparing to sell a house about that size a block away. 828-279-1496.

The above statement is not 100% true.
The inspector you name processed a warrant to arrest the owner for failing to make repairs.
Inspector Eddy has a great work ethic and is dedicated to his job.
Please note the TV is gone.

All, let's stay focused!
Kevin Sweeny and Terence Boyle are the owners of this abandoned property and LCI needs to push them to be responsible home owners.
Thank you
