Lucas Avenue from the park to Washington Avenue is turned into a stream with any rainstorm. The city promised to make repairs and all that was done was cold patch to make curbs and destruction of the parking area of the street which has resulted in gravel washing down the hill with the storm water. This street needs to be ground up and repaved as the county did on Lucas Avenue extension in 2004- creating proper drainage and catch basins. The hump in the middle of the road is higher than most curbing and sidewalks causing flooding in most homes and/or basements at the bottom of the hill. Add in the renovation of the Zoo without the use of an architect or engineer or permit and now everyone gets mud and silt too.
