Description
Between Cypress Road to Plantation Road there is no stop sign. Drivers take advantage of that to travel at excessive speeds. Many people use this road to access the Helen B. Hoffman Library, Plantation Historical Museum and the Plantation Community Center. Stop signs at Rose Terrace and Fig and another at Palm and Fig would help. Please investigate and help make our neighborhood a safer place. Additionally, this stretch of road is the longest north/south street without a stop sign in the neighborhood.

I must admit that this is an epidemic in plantation. On 54th Ave from Peters Road to Broward Blvd. there should be no stop signs because no one stops, from current residents to school bus drivers. I have monitored during school days how all the school buses roll through all the stop signs.
Then you have the local residents that do not stop in the afternoon hours when people are most prevalent.
This is a big problem cause you can not have a police office on every corner but something needs to be done.
