Description
What another blight for Mentor--A car dealership. I was hoping this would become something useful, like a Costco, to bring more jobs into the area. Mentor is starting to look like Vine St. in Eastlake with all the dealerships crudding up the landscape. Hey, Mentor, why not do what California Cities do and make an Auto Mall; a parkway exclusively for dealerships, so residents aren't having to see these eyesores in their daily meanderings. One would only see them when in need of a vehicle.

Situation still not fixed?
How would you suggest they fix it? Stop development and leave it in its current state? That'll look great!!

It is sad that it is now to late to fix this specific piece of propery. I have nothing against Honda for having moved their business. They stayed in Mentor, moved to larger quarters with move visability, they are adding sidewalks, they moved to an already exsisting building which appears will look nice. So here is my complaint... Why was Classic allowed to build that horrible structure on the corner of Tyler which doesn't fit in to the surroundings and they can't decide month to month which dealership will be housed there. This in my opinion is an eyesore to that corner which should have been confined to a one story building.
Auto dealerships are here to stay we just need to make the best of it.
