I love in Beaujolais lane and I see approximately one car a week with a flat tire on my street due to the potholes between briar forest and memorial. I have put in two prior requests through the website for fixes and have seen no work done to fill these potholes.

In the past two years I have called in at least twenty potholes on Kirkwood between Westheimer and Buffalo Bayou. This street really needs a major rework involving concrete replacement. The asphalt patches do not hold up, many of the holes have been patched multiple times and the fix is as bad as a pothole. There is also the section just south of Briarforest where the entire lane is at a slope. Please get funding to fix like they are fixing Dairy Ashford as this street is every bit as bad if not worse.

What does it mean this was completed and closed? This section of road is one of the worst in Houston and needs to be completely redone, not just patched!

I requested this and I haven't seen any potholes filled. What the heck. Is the city trying to bury this issue?

I called in yesterday and reported 8 potholes in the 1500 to 1700 blocks of Kirkwood northbound. We may need to get people to call or write Councilman Pennington as the asphalt patches are not holding and are sometimes worse than the pothole.

Re-opening of a case only opens the SeeClickFix issue for comments on the website. It does not re-open the case within the City of Houston's 311 case management system. To follow the progress of an issue, refer to the Houston 311 case reference number when contacting the city. Only the original submitter can then re-close a re-opened case.

Cases (issues) that require an investigation may result in the original case being closed, and another case being opened if actual work is deemed necessary. The city is working on a solution to provide a link between these connected cases so a citizen may track their issue beginning to end. As each department handles case requests differently, the information contained within the 311 Case Management system may not always reflect all the information about a particular case.

Once the cases are closed within the Houston 311 Case Management System, the issues are automatically closed on the SeeClickFix website. The cases can be followed not only by calling the Houston 311 Help & Info line, but also through the newly released Houston 311 website's mapping application, http://www.houston311.org - case information is updated daily. It does not make any sense to keep patching up these potholes. The street needs a major repair. There is a lot of traffic on this road and it is difficult to drive on it. The potholes and the uneven lanes are dangerous. I almost lost control over my steering wheel at a very low speed yesterday. Please do something about this road.
