The broken water main reported in today's column has been an issue since the beginning of this winter. At that time, it was a mere trickle of water across the sidewalk. A crew came to 'fix' it just after Christmas, and now it's more of a sinkhole, as your photo showed. Why are they taking so long to fix a problem that they made substantially worse? The hole gets larger by the day.
