This road has far outlived the 20 year expected lifespan of a local subdivision road. It is the policy of the Road Commission of Macomb County Board that reconstruction of local subdivision roads are 100% the responsibility of the township. The current economic situation as it is and funding already running thin, the township would most likely only be able to offer the option of a Special Assessment District where homeowners pay for the reconstruction based on the property owned on the road. Your township should have information available on setting up a special assessment for you to review.

Road Commission replied

It's nice the road commission acknowledges the problem, but there was a meeting for homeowners to pay for this about two years ago. We were asked to pay $5,000 per house to fix our subdivision roads- with the current economic condition this is not going to happen either.

This is worse than Romeo Plank and Greenfield by the Fire Station. It will turn your teeth loose. If you have a bladder problem or are pregnant, stay off of it. One of the worse streets around.
