This poses a terrible danger. Pedestrians cross the road at great risk. Because there is a turn lane, frequently driver views of pedestrians are blocked by a car in the turn lane. There are cars entering and leaving the YMCA as well as the apartment complex and from across the street at Blackburn Park. There really needs to be a light because drivers are not yielding the right of way to pedestrians. There was a death 3-5 years ago.

City of Brookhaven should look at the pedestrian crossing with a stop light that is only activated when needed that is on Roswell Road, south of Fountain Oaks and north of Wieuca. That would be a good solution for this pedestrian crosswalk. Another traffic stop light on Ashford Dunwoody would only exacerbate the traffic problems.
