Our children should not have to play on gyms that could cut them. Please fix this now!
This is an awful situation. If the children use this gym, particularly the slide, they will come down into jagged edges that will sever their skin! Not to mention the expletives written all over the gym!
you guys rock in district 4 the city should build a model around your program up there.
keep it up...
I am very disappointed to say that I will not be able to make it on saturday I have to run up north and pick up the santa sleigh for the memorial parade next weekend ,sorry

KEVIN T. THOMPSON
Thanks for the kind words of support Kevin! Have fun up north!
GREAT JOB DISCRICT 4, IT LOOKS GOOD AND SO MUCH SAFER.
The residents of District 4 and beyond create a beautiful place for its children! Many thanks to Councilman Carter, County Commissioner Greimel, Councilman Kermit Williams, Allan Schneck, Heather Webb and all who worked hard to make Jaycee park an oasis of our residents!!!
The jungle gym is safe and clean for our children!!!
We still need to do repairs on the jungle gym to make it 100% safe for the children to use so we advise parents not to allow children to use slides until further notice. We are looking into getting help from Kaboom as far as getting the gym replaced.
I know this issue is closed but if the softball teams use our park, they should clean up after them selves. Several of us watched them after 11:00 p.m. throwing trash all around the parking lots. And can the city come pick up trash after the game?
We are looking into having signs posted that would inform park users to keep the park clean.
I don't think the city should come and clean it up after the game. Either the teams keep it clean or they get fined and the fines pay for someone to clean it up. If this is enforced , I am betting the park will be better maintained.
The Department of Public Works is working hand in hand with the residents to help keep this park clean. We agree that the litterers should pick up after themselves or be fined.
