I can't believe the city hasn't commented. This must be "bay Trail". Probably maintained by the condo homeowners assn, but if somebody got hurt, they could probably find a lawyer to sue multiple agencies. It just needs to be fixed. Lots of ppl us this trail.
I have researched the BCDC permit that the City has on our shorelines. This particular path and area is private property and belongs to the Crown Harbor Homeowners Association. I have looked up their information and have forwarded a copy of this ClickFix to their property management company, Massingham and Associates, for repair.
I have notified Dave Eck, President, Crown Harbor Board of Directors, and he has assured me that they are aware of the problems on the path and are working toward a solution. If you need more information, please contact him at davideck1311@comcast.net.
Gail, you mentioned you researched the area and the permit. Crown Harbor HOA has asked for the documentation several times so we can better understand our responsibilities vs the city's.
Could you please get that information to our management company - or let them know who can help them get a copy of it? This is the fourth time they've asked for it since the original posting. Thank you.
The City of Alameda has just officially launched with SeeClickFix. If your issue is still outstanding, please report it again in the appropriate category.
