This road is absolutely awful!!! I know it probably helps keep traffic speed down but I avoid it also. But when I forget to take another route, I am so angry with myself. It seems as though people respect the 25 mph speed limit most of the time, so why not fix the road?

It broke the suspension on my car!!!!!!!
I will not drive on this road again until it's repaved! Why they would spend millions to build a brand new high school and leave this old bumpy road in such a hazardous mess as long as they have is beyond me, but I will be contacting a lawyer to see about getting compensation for the damage this road did to my car!

I sent an email to the city on this and never got a reply. It's a shame since the new Harvey High is there and not to mention Lake Erie! Come on.... fix the roads already!!!

With what money would you like it fixed? City is broke, residents are broke. Council need to have a backbone and come up with creative ways to get revenue.

You would think since they built a nice new school on walnut they would have paved it by now. I live and work on walnut all the buses and trucks beat this road to disrepair it is a major thru route. They are paving side streets in the city that dont have 1/8 of the cars, TRUCKS or BUSES. I dont even drive but I do hear everyone I work with talk to complain. I do ride a mountain bike Thank God I dont have a $4.000 bike! This road has the worst and unsafe sewer grates that eat your tires worse than a gator my dam tires cost $37 each thanks for being bike freindly PAINES. C.B.M.

WITH THE MONEY THEY ARE PUTTING INTO THE SIDE STREETS. YES THEY NEED IT TO BUT THIS ROAD BEEN BAD FOR LONG TIME. AND ITS JUST GETTING WORSE.

They built one of the nicest schools on one of the crappiest streets. Nice planning Painesville!

i was driving to school last spring, and i hit a huge pothole, and it broke one of my ty rods (spelling?). when i complained to the city, they basically said "prove it". the funny thing is, is that i live on walnut, and it wasn't THAT long ago that they re-did the entire road. i'd like to know where they got that defective concrete.

Patch job has done nothing - lets get it fixed - I am sure our residents deserve better - not to metion out-of-town guests visiting the College - these are not 'first class' streets

I take this road every day. It does mess up the suspension on the cars. I and my husband both have had our cars in the shop recently for struts, tie rod, and suspension pin problems. We witnessed one person that hit a puddle which ended up being a pot hole and it made her car undriveable. If we have the money to rebuild all the city schools, then fix the roads that all the big construction trucks tore up!

Hello Road Dept. It is now 2014 and STILL THE ROAD IS A MESS!! The patching is NOT HELPING!!
