Description
This stretch of Route 9 is extremely poorly lit. It is hard to see the sides of the road at night until you are almost off into the gravel. I was driving in the rain the other night, and I could barely see where the shoulder of the road was until I was almost off the road!
Maybe if street lighting is too expensive, the DOT could put some reflectors along the darker stretches to make this road safer. Or even use more-reflective lane striping to aid motorists in staying on the road better at night.
This is a high-speed 4-lane road without a center median, and many side roads and driveways on each side. Better reflectors would be a good idea here.
