The site in question is the subject of current litigation. No further action can be taken by the City until the court renders a decision on that legal action.

The subject property is, as of last week, under new ownership. The new owners expect to come forward with new development plans in late Fall but are working now on a punch list to address the current condition of the site.

I have heard from a very reliable source that construction will resume on Westside Parkway very soon and will be completed sometime around March 2012. No news on land development but it will be scaled down from previous plans of Prospect Park.

The targeted start for construction of the final segment of Westside Parkway is March. The delay is the result of various legal requirements associated with government purchasing.

With respect to the Avalon Project being proposed for the former Prospect Park site, the developer's proposal will come before the Planning Commission in March for consideration. That will begin the public hearings with respect to the uses and densities associated with the proposal.
