why not? there is plenty of room on both sides and usually its at night right? how many people really use that road?

you don't get to arbitrarily decide that people can or can't park in an area. If the DOT engineers and TPD have allowed it, then so be it. It's not hurting anyone, and it's usually at night when people are enjoying company or just need a place to park. When they come up and start paintin' yellow curbs, THEN complain about it.
