Still there as of 5/7/10. Tomorrow is the 23rd annual classic car parade down 4th Street. There will be a lot of out of town visitors, and besides the classic cars, we can show them a wide array of 4th Street graffiti. How nice.
That's good news. Are they going to remove the upper level graffiti on both the East and West walls? Also, the street level walls to the left and right of the front door? Recently, there are additional tags added to the glass in the front. Thanks for the update.
This graffiti is still in place. Observed 8/2/10. All the other graffiti was removed from this property, including the upper level West wall, but the upper level East facing wall still contains a massive tag.
This graffiti is still in place. Observed 1/30/11. Have talked to the Realtor several time regarding this matter. Has the San Rafael city Attorney been contacted on this issue? The Realtor is: Peter Gettner @ 446-4210. Suggest contacting him and/or the City Attorney to get this resolved.
This graffiti is still in place. Observed 2/13/11. Talked with the Realtor partner today, Dirk Brinkerhoff at 446-4222 and asked what he might do to get rid of this graffiti that was reported 4/22/10. He said he would talk with the owner and see what can be done. Would ask that SRPW give Dirk a call and remind him of the SR Ordinance on this subject.
This graffiti dates back to April 22,2010, and is still in place. Observed March 1, 2011. Would someone call Dirk Brinkerhoff @ 446-4222 and have him remind his client on the SR City Ordinance regarding graffiti removal.
Not only is this April 22, 2010 graffiti still in place, it has been joined by upper level graffiti on the West facing wall. Have talked to the Realtor several times. No action. The owner is a long time SR resident. Would someone call him and appeal to his civic pride. He had a clothing store at this location for many years, perhaps you bought stuff from him years ago. Call Dirk Brinkerhoff @ 446-4222 to get the name of the owner. In May we have the downtown classic car parade viewed by thousands. This upper level graffiti on both sides of the building looks terrible. Let's get it off.
This graffiti is still in place. Observed 3/26/11. Message below still applies. The Classic Car Parade arrives this May with thousands of visitors. Is this what we want to show our visitors? Where's your civic pride? Let's get this terrible graffiti off these walls.
