Description

The intersection of 8th and D SE is a joke from a safety perspective. Signs instruct motorists to stop when pedestrians are in the crosswalk... Few respect this rule. Motorists speed through this intersection and near-misses with pedestrians are far too common. A 4 way stop is the minimum that is needed to improve this intersection.
